outofspaces® is a Cairo-based architecture and interior design studio specializing in commercial spaces — fitness clubs, wellness studios, F&B concepts, and retail environments.

We work concept-first. Before a line is drawn, we define the experience: how people enter a space, how they move through it, and why they come back to it. Form follows that intent.

Our work sits at the intersection of architecture, sensory design, and spatial performance. We don't design spaces that look good in photographs. We design spaces that hold under real use — ones that support the business behind them and create the kind of environment people build habits around.

founded by Sara Abdelsamie, architect, interior designer, and Hyrox athlete. Sara holds a degree in architecture from the American University in Cairo and a Master's in Interior and Living Design from Domus Academy in Milan. that trajectory — rigorous technical foundation, European design culture, then back to build in one of the region's most demanding commercial markets — shapes how the studio works.

the Hyrox part matters too. understanding how the body responds to space — to proportion, to light, to the way a room opens or closes around you — isn't something you learn only at a desk. it's something you feel. that awareness lives in every project the studio takes on, whether it's a restaurant, a retail concept, or a training facility.
